Rezno 3 Posted February 28, 2013 No, this is not a "Bandit vs Hero war FTW" type topic. I just have a question. Should I try getting Hero status or succumb to Banditry? Cause I am on a Private Hive where few people enter and they don't need medical attention so I can boost up my humanity. If you play on full servers it's near impossible to move 100m without getting shot at and/or killed. I've tried the hero route, it's very frustrating. You lose humanity for defending yourself and every bandit wants to kill you for the boost in negative humanity it gets them. It's the Feinstein effect. I pretty much follow the same approach as JohnAJ ... but I don't go out to be a Bandit and still try to play my normal game.On a Public Hive, I will normally back down from a fire fight or try to get away ... I kind of treat it like real life ... when 3 dudes are shooting at you with an AK ... retreat and live to fight another day.On a Private Hive, I won't back down as easily ... but will still try to keep my character alive.No ...
