Registration Failed: ssl connect error (connect error)

Yesterday I was playing when suddenly the icon of a broken leg come out (but I was fine and free to walk) then I kill a guy, I loot his body, I try to eat but the game was not not letting me eat so I decided to reboot and after the restart when the character should spawn I read this error : Something went wrong please restart the game.

After a few hours I managed to play again... after a while I was killed and now... when reach the lobby I can read: Registration Failed: Ssl connect error (connect error) and when I click on connect after the loading screen it start again saying that something went wrong and tells me to restart.

Both Dayz and Arma are updated to the latest patch.

Any idea on how to solve the problem? it's the same in every server.

Also having this problem, its been 3 days now, everything is updated and reinstalled.

I always get the SSL connect error ... I doubt very much that is your problem.

Try and validate all your files in Steam (if you can) and maybe try a few different servers. I had similar issues the other day but it was due to a server issue ... which I rectified on my server and the problem went away.
