Cant Join any servers

After I had an encounter with a hacker, im unable to play dayz on any server, be it private hive or normal hive.

every time i try to join a server, dayz crashes with the message "Wait a moment" it was working fine before a hacker came onto the server and instantly killed and kicked everyone.

i've tried anti virus scans and found nothing, i've re-installed dayz commander, arma 2 and arma Operation Arrowhead, and i still get the "wait a moment" message.

better yet when I start dayz commander it crashes my whole computer after a while, with my only option using task manager to restart my PC.

Someone hacking a game that you are playing and killing you ingame isn't going to adversely affect your own PC. More than likely the server you were playing on is not available or has changed versions and you can't play on that server. Realize that the whole game is f-ed up at this point due to versioning. 1.7.6-finalizing vs. 1.7.6.1 and neither one works. A number of people can't play at all on ANY server and no one seems to say anything.

Weird ... so I must be imagining the 40 players who were on my server last night that is running 1.7.6.1 ... I guess I am going mad.
