Friend's character moves REALLY slow

Recommended Posts

So I got one of my freinds into dayz and he likes it but one problem, his guy cant keep up with mine. he runs very slowly even though his guy is moving his legs as fast as mine. And to clear up some stuff we have the exact same noob starter stuff so weight isnt the issue. I think its something more like either server side or his computer might be the cause of it?

His Internet connection is bad/bad ping, had this happen to a guy in my group a while ago. Good news is, you can do some baywatch scenes.

Yeah, think this is a lag issue. I seem to remember a friend struggling with this one when his other half was watching netflix in the other room.

Also, a bump after an hour and a half? Come on, man.

well the only case you can slow down while running is when you push 2xW (sprint) and after a while you will go clearly slower than the guys who is not sprinting . The cause may be a slightly lower fps as well .

You sprint and lose speed, but you'll always be at the same speed as someone running. It all has to do with who has better FPS.

no way it could be an FPS issue irs about updating the characters location which would be lag.
