Can not join a server, it thinks I'm in a car

Looks like the server thought my character was in a car (and so I couldn't eat), so I relogged. But now it won't let me in at all. It just times out at the last step. (unknown error, please reconnect)

Has anyone had this before and is there an easy way to fix it?

At first i thought it said "The server thinks i'm a car"

Maybe make a new account thingy in arma, go to the car, then blow it up/move it? I've never done something like it so no idea

Yeah, it didn't work as it's tied to my GUID. My friend has the same issue (we were in the same cars)

Forget your car and your food, it is not related.

Hackers are changing some server data before you try to connect, that's why you can't join.

Today I could play for a while and thought it was fixed - nope, after the latest restart, it's doing it again. It's a bit different though.

Also, I used to get this while it worked and when it didn't.
