Sandmnbakery 2 Posted February 27, 2013 I wasn't able to find any other topics like this one, but I'm almost positive that there is one out there for it that I didn't find. So please keep that in mind.I think that Day-Z should incorporate a system where zombies will spawn in a set amount when the server starts. The system would reload all loot, unsaved items and zombies when the server restarted in a time period of two days (48 hours.) This gives a small, but achievable chance for players to clear an area for a base and the such. But this would need a re-portioning of the zombies in cities and on roads. They would need to be more numerous to make clearing a city a challenge in itself. And plus with with the loot only spawning every two days the survivor aspect would be increased by a ton! I think it would help the failing humanity system in a way. For instance if a bandit saw a survivor going along a road he might think, "how much food and bullets does he have on him versus how much he has stored elsewhere, and does he know of any other spots that haven't been looted yet?" This might increase your chance of survival against other players and a need to work together. Also I saw an idea in another post where if you get too close to the zombies they would grab you and stop you from moving until you break free. This, all-in-all, would add to the game I think. An added bonus of this that I just thought of would be that players could no longer determine if a player(s) were in a city by looking in from a hill and looking for a zombie spawn. With zombies already spawned you could be walking in to a neighborhood with no one alive in it or a bandit base ;)Please leave a comment I would like some feed back on this idea.
UmBe 125 Posted February 27, 2013 Nice ideas, but you are right they have been suggested before. The reason the searchfunction does not work that great is probably due to no one using tags.PS.: tag your post ;-)
