Arma 2 Backpack UI

When I access my backpack in DayZ the Arma 2 UI comes up, and all the splash is just like Arma 2

Hi there. This is a free mod for Arma 2. You may also notice that the maps, players, guns and vehicles look like the ones in Arma 2 too.

Well I want to know why they look like the UI's from Arma 2 and not OA.

like the splash is the green background with the officer like the splash is for Arma 2 MP, not OA mp.

Have you launched both games prior to actually playing dayz?

Edit* Did you install dayz for arma 2 only? I understand your un-essential conflict but does it matter though?

I play both games all the time, it's just after the newest patch it's doing it. And I can't open my backpack or mark things on the map. Plus, after playing, I always get reset while this has been happening.
