Recent problems with DayZ - Help please.

Well, Ive been playing DayZ since it came out, No problems at all.

Now im getting some weird ass problem, Since 2 hours ago ive been getting some error that happens before i get into the server lobby.(it gets there and then gives the error and i press ok and it quits)

The error says this : No entry Bin\config.bin/cfgNonAiVehicles/streetlamp_basemediumorange.simulation

I installed DayZ Invasion 1944 through dayz commander yesterday, wasnt able to join any of the servers for it because I was getting some public variable restriction #86?

Although I was able to join other maps without this error, Now today its giving me this error and I cant play at all.

Thoughts?

Another thing, This picture was taken on dayz 1944.

Also sometimes I start to join a server and it just crashes, again just before the lobby.

Also, the part with the checkmarks where it loads the game, before it finishes (the game still starts)

it says Addon Dayz_anim requires addon a_crane_02

From what it sounds like, you have only be getting this problem since installing DayZ44. I am not suggesting that DayZ44 is the problem, but what I do recommend is to try and remove it first or disable it from your Expansion list in game ... Then see if the problem goes away.

If it doesn't go away, then chances are pretty good that your installation of Arma2 and mods got damaged (happened to me recently with something completely unrelated) and you might have to uninstall and reinstall.

Deleted Invasion 1944 and DayZ I944, Problem still not solved. If worse comes to worst, I will reinstall all of it.

But please, Keep giving suggestions.

Shortcut issue!

Change the first part to the location of your steam install to run Dayz - should look something like this.

"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -nosplash "-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;@DayZ;"

Make a new shortcut to run I44 (change @DayZ to @I44:@CBA_CO) or just add the mod and the supporting mods, separated with ; =)

Damn ! I uninstalled it already. Oh well, My folder was pretty full anyway. Problem should be resolved on reinstall, Thanks guys.

should still be in your rubbish bin unless you completely removed it due to file size :P
