Leviro2005 0 Posted February 24, 2013 I've been trying to get into many different servers over the last few days, with a friend, yet in a large amount of them (say 75%, most of the emptier servers), we've been getting script restriction #44, sometimes I've got it in a server after dying and trying to respawn, but mostly when trying to get into the server. I'm using 1.7.5.1 version of DayZ and I was using 102285 beta for Arma 2 OA, but I decided to downgrade to the latest DayZCommander had (101747) and I get the same error with both versions. I've searched for this problem and not found anything with this title. Anyone know what the hell is going on? Thanks.
facet 66 Posted February 24, 2013 (edited) update battleeye manualy from http://battleye.com/download.html and find good server. On many I can't join even after manual update, but I'm playing on few. Edited February 24, 2013 by Dudeist
Pokey (DayZ) 103 Posted February 24, 2013 Pretty sure I've had this. It may be about clothing/skin changes. The problem is server side, but there is a quick fix for this.Appdata/Local/ArmA 2 OA/BattlEye/BEClient.dllYou need to follow that path (easiest way is just searching %appdata% under windows search), and delete the BEClient.dll. When you enter the server again you'll automatically re-download the BE client, but it almost always allows you to enter a server whilst you're having script restrictions #41 and #44 and #119. This is only a temp fix, and you'll probably have to do it every connection to that server.
