I don't have Dayz yet but I've just been exploring in a chopper in Arma2 Free and found a tiny island almost off the East side of the map at Ref:-238153. I don't know if it's there on the Dayz map but if you fly/sail east-sout-east from Skalisty Island you may find it. A very remote place, indeed.

Edit- Just did the round trip by PBX and it took about 30 minutes and used about half the fuel in the boat.

Park it in small towns... People are always looking along the West/North and NE.... Just park it the backyard of some small town's building.... They will fly by it over and over...
