A few questions of great importance!

Hello! I am a semi-experienced player of dayZ. I've gotten a hang of most of the mod, but there are still some things that confuse me.

Firstly, how does the axe work? It's there to get you firewood, yes? But whenever I try to use it, I get a message saying I have to be in a forest and use it on a tree. No shit? That's exactly what I am doing. Is the axe not yet implemented correctly?

And another thing, why do zeds die of you get them to follow you up a steep hill? Several times I have done this to get away from them, only to see them die one by one when climbing the hill/mountain.

Also, is there any way to see how much ammo you have left in a magazine? I always find myself wondering this.

And most importantly: What makes a server have low FPS? I have a really good computer and fast connection, but at some servers (Doesn't matter if the ping is 12 or 200) the frame rate seems to drop down to like 15-20, and if I change to another server, it might be up at it's normal 60-70. Is this the hosts fault, the mods fault, ARMA 2's fault or my own fault?

For the axe u must be in a wooded area standing directly next to a tree as close as u can.

Ive never experienced Zeds dying from hills but im guessing its a bug.

And for the FPS issue im also guessing its a mixture of the server/mod. Maybe the server you entered needed a restart. Ive noticed some servers i get really low FPS especially ones hosted by =Olut=.

Yeah the axe is totally different now (thanks for making mine disappear, rocket :P what if you could make it so you can put it in either the utility slot or main weapon slot? Then you would still have a way to harvest wood.. Which it doesn't seem like there is a way to do now). Before, you had to be in an actual forest (not just some random trees) and you had to get your face right into a tree.. Then when you right clicked on the axe it would dump the wood into your inventory.

Ive never seen them die this way but I suspect what might be happening is that while climbing the hill they may randomly run backwards or something, which would make them fall down the slope and die. They hardly have to fall any distance to die from what I've seen.

As far as I know there's no way to easily see how many rounds is in a clip. I actually did an experiment where I dumped out all my clips except for one and went through picking each clip up and dropping the rest until I could find the not-full clips and discard them. It doesn't seem that this is associated with the clips themselves but what you have in your inventory. It's weird..

I'm having weird fps issues too.. I do know that there was a period where for like a weekend my fps was total crap and I suspected it was because the servers were overloaded from lots of people joining and playing. I know the updates can have an impact on fps too..

Sorry I wasn't able to answer your questions well.. Hopefully someone who knows will come along because I'm curious about most of those things too.
