Insanit (DayZ) 4 Posted February 20, 2013 So, me and my friend are new to DayZ and it was our first night on this server. We got a good start with help from a nice player, but a couple of hours later we're getting shot at by the server admin in cherno, for like a hour. When we finally found a vehicle, trying to get our asses north, to keep learning and find some good loot. Some other admins get in, accuses everybody of hacking, and when I told them to get their storys straight, I got a server ban with the explanation: fuck youSo WHAT THE FUCK?You can't even try to explain yourself without getting banned from a power abusing admin?Not a very good way to keep new players guys. Thorsblood 26 Posted February 20, 2013 Some P.Servers are bought and maintained for the soul purpose of being *THE Admin*. It's a power trip they pay for, but not long till every one and their dog avoids it like the plague. Just find a new server and ask around how the Admin is, of course you have to survive the encounter. Thorsblood 26 Posted February 21, 2013 Was it an Admin ban or Battle Eye ban, because it can't be both.If the txt is red that just means they are the Admin of that sever.(this type of ban is a per sever thing) The only servers I know of that an Admin can Ban you globally is the testing servers and it says *YOU WILL BE GLOBALLY BANNED bla bla bla stuff and things* (I haven't played on a testing sever this was just what I was told)And I know you didn't say you were globally Banned so once again no worries, just find a new sever. If you bother to administrate a server, then you stand on the top of a building, shooting the few players you've got, and then accuse them of hacking before you ban them for speaking up, your server probably won't be that popular. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

They had a "sheriff's department" or something like that. Reminded me of Woodberry. The admins kept talking about bacon and there was apparently a law against "poaching" pigs. assassinpotato 0 Posted April 19, 2013 I want to know why my friends and I are banned on this server and btw it was an admin ban. But anyway we played on this server and it was nuked but we got off right away cause we didn't want to die and this was before the new update and today I got on it said banned by admin so now I am here so can an admin tell me why I was banned and my user is Brandon Baker.
