Gun won't register ammo?

Recently I was walking through the forest minding my own buiness when I spotted a single tent. I searched it and realized I found the holy grail of loot. I picked out the m4a1 cco sd mostly because it was silence and I saw that there were 17 mags for an assault rifle I clicked on the mags and it said they worked with m4a1 and some other rifles of that sort. The caliber for the ammom was 5.56mmX45 NATO. The ammo required for the m4a1 cco sd was 5.56mmX45 NATO. However when I pull out the m4a1 cco sd it doesn't registed that I have any ammo for it. Now I may be off on the 45 part and it might be a different number but I'm pretty sure it was 45. Does anyone know why it doesn't register? Maybe I have the wrong ammo type?

no this happened to me too. quite frankly im about to give up on the game completly fter several hours of trying to fix all these bugs that wont let me play properly and now after i launch the game it wont take me to the game screen the game keeps running but takes me to my desktop

SD guns require SD ammo. You'll need to find STANAG SD mags if you want to use them in that gun.
