Super laggy [HELP]

When I enter Cherno I get this huge FPS lag spike, not quite sure why this never used to happen. My computer is about one year old and its graphics card is fairly good, as well i've got 12 or 16 GB of RAM not quite sure, I know its quite high.

I spent around 1800$ on the thing and It still lags on a game made in 2009.

Is this a mod problem or is it just my computer because I can run fricking Skyrim on ultra but I can't run this on Very Low.

the lag spikes you experience when entering cherno are very common, and are caused by the fact that when you enter cherno your client causes lots of zombies to be spawned at once. the lag spike is not your pc, it is the stress that dayZ puts on your internet connection when entering towns/cities. this will not happen in the standalone however as all zombie spawning will be serverside. for now you'll just have to make do i'm afraid :)
