Strange Performance Problem

Hi whenever i try to play Dayz or any Arma 2 Mod like Waste land i have 20-26 fps

all the time it doesnt matter if i change the graphic it allways stays the same. The only thing that changes the fps is AA then it drops to 18

The weird thing is i have only about 60% on the CPU and 40% on the GPU. So i should get much better performance if Arma 2 would use everything i have.

My System:

X4 955 3.8 ghz

gtx 460

8gb 1600mhz ram

6 GB RAM

I have the same exact problem.. I have tried everything to fix this. Do you both by any chance have windows 8? That is the only thing I can come up with.

No, i'm on W7 64-bit

As a note: I just joined a Zargabad Life server ans the game runs fine....

Dayz and Wasteland however, fail.

im using win 7 64-bit aswell
