Notlim 2 Posted June 18, 2012 This is something I've always had that annoys me in the back of the head for a lot of games. I'd use a different example, but this very clearly shows how it can be implemented without looking off: Whenever we meet other people in Dayz we often try to keep our aim off of them directly. This would add a new facet of behavior. Is the person extremely cautious, keeping his gun up in case I make a move or contemplating popping me? Is he both keeping the center of his view off of me AND lowering his gun?Looking at the behavior of other players is often something I enjoy because it helps me determine what they are thinking about, and this would do more of that. It would also mean we can be less trigger happy. Just seeing my finger through the trigger helps remind me that I'm one misclick away from death, but this could reduce that concern(and give a good reason for bad trigger discipline whenever we're holding a gun).
