Some Servers Won't Let Me On?

Okay so me and my friend where going to play last night and I'm just gonna stop blabling and get to it.

I went on a server, it worked fine. My friend goes on it and he complains there is some text on his screen about 1.7.1 not being installed and he needed it installed. We had already installed the patch. So then we leave that server, go onto another server. Same issue, but the other way around, now I'm getting the text and his is working fine. I went on a server this morning, it worked fine. Now when I go on one the text is back. It is stopping me from doing things like drawing my weapon and eating. Is there a fix for this? What do I do?

You installed the dayz files, but did you install the arma 2 beta patch files? from what im reading, you NEED the beta patch for the game to run the newest dayz version.

I ran the 6 patcher is there something else we need to run to get the Arma 2 beta patch?

It's not the Beta, but I think if have figured it out, as in like the mirror in the alpha download bit there is a 1.7.1.1 and i haven't loaded that, I just have the 1.7.1 and I think that may fix it. Thanks guys :)

Nope, I'm still having errors. Right, I have done the Beta Patch thing for Arma 2 OA. I have used the six updater but every time I open the six launcher it shows no servers. I have updated it using the Torrent file to download the rar. Now I'm really stumped.
