Low fps

Hello!

i am running DayZ using the Six launcher,

and when i play i get really low fps, i looked up in the nvidia control panel that it is playing on intel integrated graphics and don't know what to do to change this,

my specs:

Intel i3, 2,2ghz

Nvidia GT520M

4GB DDR3 RAM

You need to be in "Manage 3D Settings" and click the Program Settings tab. Next hit the add button and find ArmaII (should be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\ArmA20A).

Next go to the preferred GPU and select the want you want.

You will not have more fps. I have a samsung I7 and a nvidia 540m 2g and I get 6-10fps forcing the use of nvidia(I have a intel and a nvidia too).

I tried to play with low graphics and I only get 12fps.

This sucks because you cannot kill zombies or bandits that are moving. :-/

If you get more fps somehow, please, tell me how! =)

I have to play on min Graphics so i can kill zombies,and it has been lagging more for me since beta patch.

I was easily flying through game with high settings (720p) and 40fps without a drop (well, except cherno, that's killing me). Since 1.7.1 im having like 5 (!!!) to 30 fps, anyone else?

And some servers are like locked at 7 fps, im standing in one spot, login - fps sux, 5-7. I log to next server and its 20. Dang, cant play it right now.

@CORMAC, maybe you didn't noticed but I was having 40 FPS BEFORE 1.7.1, SO MY HARDWARE IS COOL MATE. Thanks for trying :P

My laptop has lower spec than your and it plays the game fine.

Are you sure it's running on your nvidia ?

This is no fix but when i tried playing it through the six launcher i got terrible fps (under 30 on a 4.6ghz cpu with a gtx 680)

When i then just ran the beta manually i got my normal fps again (70+ outside of cherno)

So something about the 6 launcher does not agree with my pc.

How do I see if it is using nvidia and how to force it to do so? Thanks
