New player looking for server

I'm a new Dayz player who's looking for a server.

I've only just tried the game out and I like what I see, but I can't seem to understand where to find info about server restarts and why some servers have 2-3 hour nights, while others follow authentic time via selected timezones?

I would prefer a server with full lengt days and since I'm from sweden (GMT +1) and will be playing evenings and nights mostly, I would prefer a server with daylight during that time :)

I don't want to sound too picky after 2-3 hours of gameplay, but I don't think I would enjoy too many vehicles and equipment in abundance.

Seems to me that a part of the charm is to start out small and try to build from there.

I've always enjoyed a little bit of RP, so if there is anything like that out there, let me know :)

If anyone has some tips in general or a good idea of a suitable server, I'm all ears.

You are always welcome to try our server out.

Wont need to worry about hackers or abusive admins.

Only 1 admin, who never plays ingame. Its very easy to apply for the password.

its a US based server, but people get very good ping from all over the world. many people from AU, UK, and SE, etc.

you can check out the Hunters Den forum and decided if it sounds appealing to you. :)
