am I on track?

So I am getting better, week 2 of playing dayz and got my basics in place, even found a motorbike and van to drive about a bit.

I seem to only last a couple of hours though and my character skin doesn't change either, I am one of the good guys out there and get killed alot for trusting others.

I tend to get my hatchet, get some good and try and find a gun early doors head towards cherno as that's where its all happening, raid a supermarket get some good gear, get shot and do it all again....am I doing anything wrong or should I be doing other stuff?

You can play however you want. Set yourself some goals. Maybe start a small camp or become a medic. Whatever floats your boat really. You're at the stage where some people give up because they can;t think of what to do.

You gotta use your imagination. Have a look around the forums to see what others are doing for some inspiration.

TMW is now the biggest clan in DayZ. If you like the look of it join up, if you're more the bandit type then go for it, there's groups for that too.
