Real time plane crashes

I would like to see real time plane crashes

for example your looting Cherno, then a smoking plane files overhead and crashes in the nearby wilderness. Every player is going to converge on that site to fight for loot.

Not to mention zombies walking out of the plane shortly after. Or maybe even NPCs with guns that will shoot back??

The idea is really nice. And the idea could include care package. No Npcs with guns though.

Scripted events, such as plane crashes, chopper crashes, aid drops etc. have been touted around a lot over the last few months but Rocket has always been in favour of player related events and stories - i.e. everything in game happening, happening because of players themselves. I can appreciate this and tend to agree with him

NPCs - no I doubt we'll see that, again, the focus of this project has been heavily placed on players themselves going about their business in their own way and creating their own stories. NPCs isnt Day Z's style!

It would be nice to see a chopper crash when the crash site spawns, Instead of it magically appearing.

I was stood in a field once and BAM, chuffing chopper crash site smack bang in front of me. Happened so quick I was in and out before zombies spawned.

that happens already when player crash their choppers and planes. its actualy pretty common. why add it to the game when players already do it?

I prefer the mood of coming across an already-crashed chopper. It makes the player feel so much more alone, and the world feels appropriately dead.

Not a bad idea, would make the game seem more alive in a undead world hehe
