Convert "Private Hive" to public server on main hive

Hello All,

I have been playing on my private server for a few dayz now. (=

Was wondering what it would take to connect it to the main LIVE servers?

Am running opendayz.com's Pwnoz0r's DayZ Private Server Pack and am wondering

What steps are required to move private hive to public hive?

Will check over on opendayz site forum and report back anything I learn.

It will probably have to do with redirecting mysql to their server and getting some credentials of some sort.

I read that thread twice before posting this question.

That thread was created Aug 1st 2012 and has not had action since Aug 20 2012.

It only mentions "Purchasing a dedicated/managed server".

I do not want to purchase anything. I have plenty of hardware and plenty o bandwidth.

Is there any other option besides purchasing a remote server?
