Zed changes in the last patch

First of all I'd like to say that the recent patch overall is good, the only thing I have a problem with the zeds being stronger now, let me explain why.

This is a mode with many bugs and glitches, especially with the zeds,zed animations are horrible a hatchet doesnt hit them correctly most of the time and even if you see blood coming out from the zeds they still dont die.

When you go into building they simply clip through walls and even hit yoj through them, by making them talk to eachother you increase the number of zeds that come in to the building to attack you thus increasing the number of zeds who will clip through walls / attack you through walls. And it has become a big problem in the new patch.

It's all fine and dandy for people who survive months and havent died after the patch, they have weapons and everything to protect themselves from the zeds but for people like me who die a lot are having problems with this, when I go to cherno and electro and dont find any good weapon and I have to carry the bugged hatchet when I loot the city its become really hard, and I dont like server hopping just to get a better weapon, a backpack or a map(which is like a mountain dew nowadays and help me to travel across the map)

I think that these zeds should only be in the standalone where we dont see any of the bugs Ive mentioned before.

What do you guys think?

No need to post the 100th topic on the situation, just post in one of the many other threads.

Its a survival game, the zombies werent a real threat before hand although the zed awareness is a bit out of control.

Also if a player is struggling to gear up, its the ones who used to sprint through a city with a trail of zeds behind them get in the nearest building and disconnect. It is tougher to gear up, you have to be faster run over the loot only stopping if you see something interesting. Its not a case of not having a browse anymore and taking your pick at which loot to have.

I remember when players used to sneak everywhere because the zombies were best avoided. then came the running straight through tactic, and people just got lazy.

Now they are a buggy threat, All i would suggest is practice.

I have tried 1.7.5.1 for a while. I moved back to 1.7.4.4 and then forward to 1.7.5.1.

The problem of 1.7.5.1 is not that it is too hard, but that it is too random (1st problem) and too glitchy (2nd problem).

The glitchy side refers to Zombies. I reported several times that they die stupidly by falling from buildings (I wish I could record this) and now it is acknowledged that their AI is broken.

But this is not really hard, just stupid.

And indeed the Zombies are EASIER if you just forget you have a firearm (now I drop it before raiding anything), they are far less able to follow, they often either forget or stop tracking or turn around (in a town).

I started a new game and travelled in Elektro running circuits to get stuff (power plant, school, hospital, supermarket, fire station, then repeat): the loot was miserable despite having somehow 100 spawn points available and I have been wounded twice in the supermarket, every time by Zombies glitching through the walls. But after 3 laps I had all the tools, food, beverage, water bottles, medical stuff of any kind, an Ak-74, an M1911, ammo and an ACU pack (where are the Alice now ?), it took 20 minutes or so and then I left.

The funny thing is that now everybody is so scared to fire inside a town that you have also less risks doing that kind of stunt than before if the server isn't too crowded.

The real problem is the high variance in loot. A 6 loot-points places give you almost nothing and half of what you find is crap. A 12 loot-point gives you one/two useful items.

I go on mostly by killing Zombies with the hatchet or I have enough patience , I just wait for them to spawn in the wrong place and die.

Game is also (too) random. One day it is all rabbits (impossible to catch silently) another day I kill a cow, gut it and after a minute I get another cow. Doesn't make sense...

It is not really harder.
