I feel your pain, mate. I got by my first month, month and a half without a hacker encounter - now it seems a regular part of the game experience. I don't get it either, DayZ is all about survival. Hacking obviously negates that aspect and breaks the gameplay. I had a hacker spawn in and kill me, but touch nothing in our camp. The reasoning? I've no clue.

Well maybe you pissed him off when you attacked him.

Should've gotten away instead of shooting him in the head. Just sayin'.
