New self-use healing method?

We are aware. Not trying to make stuff easier, but more realistic (at least I am).

Apologies, should have directed that at OP--he's looking for a 3k medpack, and I'm saying half that already exists, which ain't too shabby(and since killing/catching those rabbits is literally impossible, there's already a difficulty mechanism in place to limit hording)

Very aware of wabbit hunting lol, but that takes about 8 or so rabbits or about 4 for half health...and that's if you can find them, they only seem to appear for me when also near zombie's >< I also I wasn't looking for a 3k medpack i was looking more for a 5-7k medpack :D made to be used only while in a hospital or something.

(just no RNG that can kill you like bleeding out while unconscious due to getting a bad roll of the dice x_x)

well so far if you kill me in-game when i play alone you'll get a coyote full of food xD

anyways,blood should regenerate through time.your character will be slow and dizzy until blood reaches a good 8k or something.have you ever donated blood?i had to donate 2 bags for my cousin,you feel dizzy and stuff,but i didnt eat 5 cows to be good again :P after some times your blood is back up.so they should add a blood regeneration thingy,and to make it hard,it could be 200 every 10 minutes(you play).if you dc you stay at the blood you are

When it comes to the healing gameplay in DayZ, the goal should be to avoid repetitive time sinks, to avoid arcade-type mechanics, and to avoid situations that remove player choice/game interaction. On top of that, one the biggest goals should be that when it comes to health and healing in DayZ (or any survival based game for that matter), players should rarely if ever be put in a situation where they feel that from a gameplay standpoint it's more fun to just suicide and respawn with a fresh body instead of trying to survive at your current health. Surviving a situation that almost kills you and then taking the steps to get healthy again needs to be shifted away from being a frustrating gameplay experience and more towards being an enjoyable gameplay experience. That doesn't mean things can't be hard, but when it comes to a game, hard plus rewarding is better than hard plus frustrating.

Right now in DayZ, at least on the servers I play on, the sidechat is constantly full of players asking for blood transfusions, and at least once or twice a day I see a conversation where a player who's low on blood and only has starter-city gear decides that since none of his friends on sidechat are close enough it's less of a hassle to just suicide and rescavange an M1911, some soda cans, and a little bit of food. Obviously that's a huge sign that solo-healing in DayZ is broken when players are routinely willing to abandon immersion to get around it.
