Dayz "Wait A Moment" Problem

Recommended Posts

For about a week now everytime I try to play DayZ I get the loading screen and it says "wait a moment" and it wont go on from there. I can play regular Arma 2 OA servers it's just whenever I try playing DayZ. I'm starting to get desperate, I've tried uninstalling Arma 2 OA and Arma 2 and re installing them at least 4 times each. Everything you can think of I've tried. Anyways I'm wondering if theres any fix for this other than a new computer?

If you can play on plain Arma 2 OA servers then there's nothing wrong with your copies of Arma2 and OA , have you tried deleting the DayZ files and re-installing them using DayZ Commander or Play with six ?

Yep, I've unistalled DayZ about 15 times, and used both six updater and commander to install it.

Are you running a steam version of the game, if so in DayZ commander click on settings and look for steam options click the little box that says "replace original Arma2oa files with beta so steam works" , also if you are running steam version verify your game cache sometimes files get corrupted and stop you from playing.

To do that open steam go to library and right click on OA click properties, then local files, then verify integrity of game cache. If any files are missing or damaged it'll fix them for you do the same for Arma 2.

Just tried that, didn't work, perhaps it could be something with the registry files or temp. files?
