FPS varies on 2 servers?

Hey.

I use to play on one private server.

But now I have really bad fps in Cherno ...

And there is another server from the same private team with the same exact load out, on which my fps are perfect.

The funny thing is, that I have a bad ping (95-170) on that server with the good fps and a good ping (around 40) on that with the bad fps.

Can someone plz explain me that?

And is there maybe a solution?

The server you get 40 ping from is more local than the other( More than likely same country as you) The other server is probably a foreign one or other side of the country.

yeah .. I guess :D but why does this affect the fps? And why do I have better fps on the server with the higher ping? -.-

I thought the fps depend 100% on my computer and have nothing to do with the server ...

Seconded. I have the exact same issue, higher ping servers (150+ ping) get good fps (70+ fps) and good ping servers (15 ping) get terrible fps (10fps, or sometimes 30 max).
