With hotfix - please reset hunger/thirst

I had been playing the 1.7.1.1 update and was doing well. Except of course, as everybody knows, there was no food/water spawning. I don't know if this is possible to do Rocket, but if you could reset hunger/thirst (or give us some food/soda or something) for people on the new hotfix that would be helpful considering I don't want to be penalized for playing in a world without food. You're probably swamped with requests and angry forum users, but this little fix would make things much better as the game continues to be developed.

I understand the nature of permadeath and everybody will die eventually, but this is obviously an issue of a broken game and not a failure to play the game well.

Anyway, I think the new patch is putting the game in the right direction, but I don't want to lose the gear I struggled several hours to get yesterday because I played in a world without food.

Again,this suggestion might be impossible, but thanks anyway.

Im about to die, I broke my leg last night, successfully raided a hospital, Killed a few zombies that heard the shots (All with a broken leg) fixed it with morphine and now am about to die because I cant find food or water...Sadface.
