Lag on pretty much every server.

So i've recently started playing dayZ and every single server i go onto I'll have a orange or red chain in the right corner, everyone else will have good ms, but i'll have like 1800 or some crazy amount. I live in the UK so I play UK servers yet i still lag. My internet is pretty good and I dont lag on any other game. I find this incredibly odd that I lag on this game, and its not because of graphic issues since i can run it on the highest, its incredibly odd and i'm unsure, is there any way to possibly fix this?

Do you have anything running in the background on your computer?

Do you have WiFi, and are there any devices connected to your WiFi?

Or are you on WiFi?

There are many things that can cause in game Ping to shoot through the roof.

Could be computer hardware too, something going wrong with the patches, or drivers, it could be a lot of different things.

Nothing running in the background. 1 other PC running on my IP. I'm on Wired connection to my router. I mean the lags settled down, but now its got to the point where its not lag its delay when I press a button to move?

Make sure you have your latest card drivers, and then try rolling back the DayZ patch and see if that helps.

I just went through the list of servers that had the highest ping and it was still like it, I mean its ALRIGHT at some points, playable but incredibly hard when in elektro and have a load of zombies after you or something, i mean it says i have like 23MS but im lagging like crazy
