Is loot bugged more than just food and drinks?

I've been in several buildings (crawling because i need morphine) and I haven't found anything (in mogilevka) and so I decided to go to Zub.

Yes... I crawled with a broken bone all the way to zub from mogilev (i have alice pack and several nice items, i won't give up!) and there were no items in zub.

So i said i'll try more servers. I tried 5 servers and not a single piece of loot in Zub aside from one spawn of tin cans.

What's the scoop?

There's a known loot bug. This explains why there's watches all over the place and why I found a Mountain Dew but no BEANS or Soda.

Can you elaborate? Obviously some things are spawning because people are playing the game.
