Bad version, server rejected connection

Recommended Posts

I have the latest DayZ version and am joining servers with the same version, but I'm getting this error, "Bad version, server rejected connection".

Here's a screencast of the issue, http://screencast.com/t/ifssAPHB2UIA

Update -

I reinstalled everything from the dayz commander. Also I am filtering out the wrong versions in the server browser. It still gives me this error on most servers I try to join.

Updated screencast http://screencast.com/t/QILiT1bVl9

Update Fixed-

This is the option I changed, http://screencast.com/t/26NL4wih

And this is the message I get when it needs to change versions http://screencast.com/t/KNUl2Z4Z2IIg

Have you tried reinstalling all the updates with Dayzcommander?

That's the beauty of Dayzcommander - you can reinstall or change versions to an earlier one for different servers so easily

That happended to me last night too. I just clicked the little box to allow Commander to run diffrent version on ARMA to get Steam connection to work(it's in settings). Hope that helps. Good luck.

I had the same thing, this worked but now after I have updated/reinstalled dayz commander I get an AVG threat detected warning. I got one that said battleye too.

Anyone else get this or know anything? It wants to put it all in the vault.
