BattlEye Initialization Failed

So I decided to start playing DayZ again after about a month and I get this error message that says "BattlEye Initialization Failed" every time I try to join a server... Jesus Christ. I'm tired of having to sort out this bullshit every time BattlEye fucks up. I shouldn't have to do it myself. They should. I tried validating and copying and pasting my ArmA 2 BattlEye folder over to the Operation Arrowhead folder but NOPE. This hopeless cheat detection wont let me play.

Here is what I did..

>open day z commander

> reinstall the updates for arma 2 and day Z mod

>run day z. Leave lobby when it says "updating battleye to version 1.whatever"

>re open day Z but this time lett battleye update in the lobby.

Hope this will help you as it helped me play day Z after my absence.

I tend to get this when my net is running slow, but I think you can just download the .dll or something from battleye and it should help it. Do some googling.

i have the same problem. have tried going to battleye.com and downloading client like you did and still didnt work.

I know The Solution ! (Worked For Me)

Navigate too: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead

and: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2

(Or If you have a hard-copy just find your root ArmA 2 directory)

In these folders will be another folder named "BattlEye" Go into the folder and delete "BEClient.dll" In the folder.

(Make sure you do it for both ArmA 2 and ArmA 2: OA)

(If you have a hard copy it may only appear in the ArmA 2 Folder)

Join a server and before spawning let it say:

"BattlEye Update initializing" or some such

And then "Update Complete - Restarting"

And then Bob's Your uncle should be fixed :)

Anyone with this question, I may have the answer!

Download Battleye from their website, listen to the instructions, and delete the BEClient.dll from both arma 2 + arma 2 operation arrowhead. I am pretty sure it will work.
