Improving Topic Auto-save?

Hi, I been having trouble writing a topic because sometimes I accidentally backspace and ends me going back to a page or my browser crashes.

Is there a way that we can auto-save it manually or have it improved for the forums?

I have had wasted about 2 hours trying to write up an awesome idea for the suggestions area. All the time and dedication was put to waste :(

Just use copy and paste (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V)

I used to get problems when my router decided he wasn't going to play ball. This is how I got round it.

Not a perfect solution, but better than nothing.
