Lag problem, tried everything

So for that past 1-2 months I've been experiencing gamebreaking lag. Until today I thought it was a compatibility problem with windows 8, since it seemed to start right after I updated. But now I've noticed my ping is shooting sky high in game (2500ish). This has nothing to do with my internet. I have 50 mbps down, 5 up. I've reinstalled everything, made sure everything is updated (the problem has persisted thru multiple patches), forwarded ports, taken my firewall down, tested multiple servers, run everything in multiple different windows compatibility modes, tried using different launchers (Dayzcommander, play with six, manual thru ARMA), updated graphics drivers. I'm at a complete loss as to what else to do. If any other information is needed feel free to ask and thanks in advance for any help :)

Might be worth noting that its only in Dayz, Arma multiplayer works completely fine. No issues in any other games either.
