Freshling 19 Posted February 6, 2013 Hey Guys, i needed the new beta patch and DayZ commander and the site were not working for me..so i found a site where i could download it.. so i downloaded it.. i opened it to do the cinfiguration and it opened a CMD box (which i know shouldn't happen)It said in the Box it had "installed Beta Patch 55696945245958205856" what ever it was :) and a load of other information..I then saw it hadnt worked on DayZ commander.. so i just went onto an older server and try again later..I got into the Selection Screen for gender.. and it said "Global Ban - Then a number code" Has my key been stolen because that's what i have been told? is there a way i can get unbanned? or would i have to buy a new copy of Arma to get a new key :(thanks, Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I'd imagine there is no chance of this ban being lifted, as with every online game, your key is your responsibility to keep safe, only downloading files from trusted sources is a big part of that and is key to internet security in general.Of course, you are welcome to contact Battleye if you want to dispute it as they issue the bans. I highly doubt that's what happened, and if it truly is, It was somewhat deserving.I'm going to have to agree, very odd you would do that, DayZ Commander does the latest Beta-Patch to the latest DayZ code needed, i.e if DayZ needs 108768 then DayZ will only support that Beta and a higher beta patch is not needed. I don't really want this thread to turn into a guide on how to help people re-install after being globally banned for obvious reasons.In short, you will have to buy Arma again.
