Suggestion: Survivor Timer

So today at work, me and a collegue started to talk dayZ, (im sort of recriting him) and he asked me what the point of game was...

Surviving, i replied. Thats it, unless you get bored and join the cod-kids.

Anyway, we came up with following idea.

Survivor Timer

A clock in debug window that counts ACTIVE game time per char.

I.e not offline

I.e DAY:0 HOURS:3 MINUTES:45 SECONDS:32(counting)

-Longest and shortest gameplay is saved from death to death

Always having a top recotd to beat

And a dirt ya dont wanna hit

Camping in woods for records could be a issue...unless

A) timer stops in wilderness (boring)

B) camping (standing still) spawns 2-4 random zeds every 5-10 min unless you move away atleast 3-500 metres

(balancing+math i leave for someine els)

Could be client side only for fun, or some slight rank system for sports.... Good record achiver dont wanna die.

Feel free to flame, but please add a reason to why it would be bad :)

Reason to idea was that:

1.no ranks for pk.. Aint a pvp game per se..

2. No rank for killing zeds.. Would remove point

Of DayZ.

Horror/survivor game should have surviving as prio.

Cheap bump i know.

But personally id love something like this... Client side at least.
