Compass Interface Size Issue

So, I've done my attempts to find anything on this particular topic with no luck so far. Here is the issue:

After updating to the latest patch (1.7.5.1) for DayZ and ARMA2 (1.62.101480), I've found that my in-game Compass and GPS units (default K and rightctrl+m) have become so overwhelming on the screen. They used to be much, much smaller, but since the patch, they are nearly half my screen in size.

I attempted changing every resolution setting I can think of, from UI resolution, 3D resolution, to manually editing settings in the ARMA2OA.cfg, player profile, and other files to make it smaller.

Does anyone have any information on this? I want the compass size in-game to be smaller, and match my resolution size (1920x1080).

Any help would be appreciated.

I dont know how to make it smaller but you could go on an older version of DayZ

Guys the easiest way to fix this is to double click on the compass continually and it should go back to normal size. I mean this works for me. Give it a try.
