Socom_M1911 4 Posted February 4, 2013 A bit of advice to give you a better gaming experience... Don't use dayzdb.com! It's a really well made site with a lot of good info but it ruined the experience for me knowing exactly where to go. To be honest, i wish i could go back to the days where i had no clue where i was going!
Spon9eBoB 4 Posted February 4, 2013 We can help you arm up & play DayZ " learn the ropes", we would like to have you on our team. We are currently playing on Server US 310 Dallas. The server currently has 400 vehicles, you spawn with with some good basic gear. Its the best server I've played in for the past 9 months. It is currently whitelisted, but it is open to all sometimes. If it is whitelisted when you log in, it will give you information on how to apply. Most of the time it is instant approval. Or you can reach me (Snoopy or anybody else on ) at ts101.light-speed.com:4888 Just introduce yourself & I or anybody else on the Ts can ask the admin to add your name to the server. We would just need your Dayz gaming name. We have had the minimum amount of hacking compared to all the other servers, I have played in. the Admin Calmdown takes good care of the server, if we get hacked he just kicks out the hacker & gives you back the gear you lost. mischlig 8 Posted February 4, 2013 I'm an IT guy but gaming isnt something i've dabbled with before so i dont know much about GPU's etc. I'm running this on a HD 7750 for now as it was cheap from a friend but i'm looking to go to a GTX680 when i get paid.. what would this give me over the 7750?Thanks.the gtx 680 is badass. the amd 7750 is entry level. the difference is huge but you need overall good hardware to be able to get the full performance from the gtx 680.i recommend an i5 3570kand if money is no problem an i7 3970. but for gaming the i5 will do as good as the i7 since the games dont run on all cores. quadcore is enoughSent from my mobile Device and now i have big ePeEn!
Nuubio 61 Posted February 4, 2013 Look for deer stands for better firearms. Hangars, radar stations and military tents are also nice but they're less safe and more rare to come by. You can lose zombies by hugging a bush, which will make them lose track of you instantly. If you're under 9000 on blood, stay the hell away from the zombies as they might Mike Tyson you down instantly, probably resulting in you dying. If it's dark use light sources *cough*gamma*cough*brightness. If you see a towelhead I suggest either running or shooting.
