I need some help please!!

A friend recently talked me into getting this game, so i went and bought it off steam. Downloaded ARMA 2, ARMA 2 OA, ARMA 2 BETA and also verified the cache. Downloaded Dayz commander and updated everything. Then i tried to join a game and i kept getting ""Data file too short C:\Program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@dayz\addons\dayz.pbo. Expected 25270671 b, got 12582147b. I have yet to enjoy this game please help me fix this!

^ Never works. There are countless duplicate threads on these forums. Rofl.

What you want to do is go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead and you want to delete the folder named @Dayz and the DayZ.rar file. Then you want to go into DayZCommander and reinstall 1.7.4.4. And try and load into game,

If it's still not working, delete the @DayZ folder and the .rar file again, and download the latest from here then extract everything to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead.

Also, did you run both ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 : OA before you tried to play DayZ?
