Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical engine

Recommended Posts

I get an (Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical engine) message everytime i try to join an DayZ server through Six Launcher.

And if i just try joining an Server from within the game, it says DayZ is not updated to latest patch.

Please Help.

Copy the arma2oa.exe from your beta folder, and paste it into your arma 2 folder.

Then create a shortcut of the arma2oa.exe. Right click the shortcut click properties, and where it says "Target" add these parameters to the end of what is already there.

" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@Dayz -nosplash"

minus the quotes, but including the space at the beginning.

I am I ran to the same problem while trying to install the beta as described in a thread.

Before the error I had a wonderfull performance. I had about 60 frames on max quality. After the error the game is hardly playable now.
