Anybody else having trouble finding food/water?

Since 1.7.1.1, I haven't found anything edible at all, and I must've scavenged at least six supermarkets by now. Thank god the flashing food icon stops flashing when you log off and back in again (is that a bug?), else I would have died a long time ago.

As someone has already pointed out, there was a tweet about this just recently:

So ahh... seems to be a bug with food and bandage spawning. The bean wars are on. Food is rarest resource at the moment.

In the same boat, I even tried shooting zombies hoping for something and only empty tin cans. Seems different people have different luck with items. In the first 1.7 release, I found nothing but backpacks everywhere lol (those shitty chest ones or patrol packs so they weren't even useful!)
