Lag in the menu

Iv been able to play arma 2 ao and arma 2 fine but the first time i played dayz it was fine but now its lagging like crazy at the menu making the game unplayable. I lowered all the settings done the thing were you go to documents and reinstalled the game but nothing it just wont work. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( plz help

If you bought the game through Steam have you tried verifying the integrity of your game cache?

ill give that a go but i dont think it will work. Iv used razor game booster to defrag but that does nothing.

If it doesn't work then try deleting DayZ mod and running ARMA II: OA. If it runs fine then your DayZ installation must be messed up so try reinstalling.

Yeah, ARMA is really dependant on HDD speed, so if yours is full of crap and running slowly then that won't help either.

Well that did nothing so i guess my games screwed. Just gotta wait for the standalone to come out
