Playing on multiple servers

I was just wondering if it's possible to play on 2 different servers and each server saves my character? The only reason I ask this is because my current server is at night time and I dont have NV and flashlight dont work as its ingame bugged.

I basically want to take a break from that server with all my items etc, play another and then come back onto other server and carry on with that character items etc so on.

I dont want to lose items etc for the server I am currently on.

Not sure if any of this made any sense but any info will be appreciated thanks.

If your playing on any of the official dayz servers your character's gear will be transferred, but if your on a private hive you will have to start over.

Hi, thanks but thats not what I meant. I want to play on 2 seperate servers with 2 seperate characters/items. one is private hive other is not. Is this possible or will returning to my previous server make me start over.
