Teleported on US 1992

I'm not sure how to do this, although I have read the reporting guidelines. I am quite new to the game, 2 weeks.

I was on server US 1992 hosted by Overclock.net at around 8am server time and 8pm Est my timezone.

I had been on for about an hour and was several miles from the start spawn coast in the middle of the woods. All the sudden my screen whited out and I heard flies then silenced shots into my characters back. As the screen became visible I could see that I had been teleported to some military or medical tents. Then someone in bandit skin ran up to my body while I was lying prone in third person. I managed to abort before I died, but I didn't actually see who had did it.

Not sure what to do about it or if anything can be done.

Nothing can be done without evidence. Especially if you didn't know who done it...

Isn't there a way for admins for the server to figure it out and kick them.

How does one get evidence when it happens within 15 seconds? Especially when not expecting something like that to happen.

Doesn't sound like it should be my problem or any other legit players.

If this game is to suceed in the forseeable future, these things need to be handled by devs and admins.

I actually remember joining this server and ended up both getting teleported and killed on it. I'm pretty sure that it's infested with hackers anyway, but the most you can do is hope an admin checks and finds something (if he's not a hacker himself). And why don't you play on private hives? 90% satiates the hacking problem.

Well like I said, I've only been playing for about 2 weeks. I read down the forums after it happened to me and only then did I realize the gravity of the problem.

I will take your advice and try to find some low ping private hives. Hopefully, the problem doesn't continue. We only play games until they aren't fun anymore.

I checked back to see how many were on the server and it went from 37/40 people when I was playing, to 4/40. I wonder if hackers keep playing after everyone else stops. I guess they're probably used to playing with themselves

And I recommend "Balota Buddies" They are a UK/US outfit that contain all private, white-listed servers. Basically you present them with your "GUID," they check if you've ever hacked, and if you're legit, you pass. Also, mods can trace emails to other websites, and we have caught many a hacker there as well, so watch out if you get any ideas ;)

Thanks for reporting about the hacker(s). I have banned multiple users at and around this time for teleporting and a couple of other things.
