I'm so close to punching my monitor it's not even funny

yesterday i bought arma 2 and arma 2 OA through steam and went on and installed the mod through Dayz commander,it sais everything is up to date and yet when i try to join a server it sais bad version,server rejected connection. I've re-installed both arma and OA and the mod itself.I tried to download battleye ,it's a dll with a retarded software named "open freely".maybe there's a problem with battleye(im launching it through steam if it makes a difference).please respond D:
