car/look key glitching

Whenever I hold down the look key (Default left alt key) it pans up to looking straight up at the sky, the same thing happens when I get into a vehicle. Really makes endgame dayz unplayable and I need help please. The issue happenes to me on multiple computers.

when you get into a vehicle it defaults to directional control with the mouse. double tap that left alt key and then drive with the w a s d keys, and use the mouse to look around. zoom your view with the right mouse button.

*you can change all these controls in the 'controls' section of arma II*
