How to make headset more "sensitive".

Hey guys, so I have had my Tritton AXPro's for a while now, and it seems all my friends with $20 headsets have incredible hearing.

For example, we will be doing something, and they will all hear a vehicle, and I won't until the last second.

Any help? Thanks!

it could be your settings, also, those $20 headsets are usually actually $40-50 and they have surround sound. but, put your audio up, and turn the headset volume down
