Good evening all,

I could do with a little advice; my knowledge on computer systems isn't fantastic. Whenever I play DayZ - and most games nowadays really - my PC crashes every single time, since my PC is quite old and a heap of you know what. What system / graphics card would you recommend using to play this game smoothly? Or could you perhaps tell me why this might be? I hadn't played in ages but tried to play again the other day and it just crashed instantly.

I currently use a GeForce 8800 GTX.

That has system requirements also Dayz destroys your processor so make sure you buy one which is quad core.

I'd recommend a quad-core CPU at 3Ghz or higher, 4Gb RAM and a med-tier graphics card for playing DayZ.

If you post your current specs and ask how best to improve your system here I'm sure someone will be able to help...
