Arma II, DayZ major lag issues. Windows 8

*Which version of the game did you purchase? STEAM or RETAIL or MIXED: STEAM

*Are you running an Arma 2 OA beta patch? If so what version?: Nope

*Which method are you using to launch the game? I.E Sixupdater/steam/batch file: Steam

*What is the Error/Problem you're having? Please provide screenshots if possible: Horrible lag as soon as the game starts takes around 10 minutes just to get to the main menu, worked fine when i was on windows 7.

*Your PC specs:

Processor AMD Athlon™ II X2 220 Processor, 2800 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)

Total Physical Memory 12.0 GB

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (1024MB)

*Your Operating System: Windows 8 PRO

Go back to windows 7 then, problem solved.

maybe a compatability problem or mayb not just go back to windows 7 if u dont find a solution
