bought friend ARMA: CO, want to give him files

bought friend ARMA: CO, pasted him my ARMA2 and ARMA CO folders into his common folder, attempted to launch ARMA2, got bad serial error

deleted ClientRegistry.blob, still wont verify integrity, continues to ignore all the other files

how can i make this work, i don't want to redownload everything

i've tried using the search function on the forum, nothing specific - i made this work once months ago, its always a pain.

you need to delete the cdkey from regedit.

open regedit

delete the folders in these locations:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio

that should remove the cd key from your system and your friends should be able to use the key
